Vielka Hoy

Vielka has been in education for nearly twenty years as a middle and high school teacher and university instructor. She earned a BS in Social Studies Education from New York University and MA in Afro-American Studies from UCLA, and most of her doctorate at UC Berkeley in African Diaspora Studies. Vielka also founded Bridge to College Inc, a web app, and works as a program associate and specialist in educational technologies at the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University.
